Stay Healthy and Vibrant

You are amazing. You really are!

Despite all that’s going on in the world, so many of you have reached out to me to see how I am doing with the closing of my office for therapeutic massage and bodywork until further notice per the Governor's directive.  I usually help you, but in turn,YOU are helping me.  My loyal client base is the core of my business and I am so grateful for each of you!

This is a time to refocus your priorities on your health and your family. You can't be there for them if you are not feeling well. Keeping your immune system strong is very important for your vitality during the Coronavirus pandemic as well as seasonal allergies.

Here are three tips to boost your immune system:

-Hug your loved ones.  Even in with self-quarantine, hugs are an effective means of reducing the harmful effects of stress which can lead to damage to bodily systems.  Reducing the body's stress load is important to strong immune function.

-Reduce mucus forming foods.  Phlegm only becomes problematic when there is too much or when it is too thick. Germs and allergens collect in mucus membranes.  Some foods that are mucus producing include, but not limited to, white potatoes, bananas, dairy products, soy and wheat.

-Gargle. Frequent gargling with warm salt water is another tried and true practice.  This is for prevention and to help relieve sore throats.  I like to add a drop or two of therapeutic, grade quality oregano or clove oil for the additional antiviral properties.

If you know anyone who is looking to reduce pain and inflammation, enhance cognitive function or lessen their level of anxiety, please do not hesitate to give me a call.  I am available for you, your family and friends.
