Support You Need
It's All About You!
Have you ever received good advice that you were not able to follow? Has your doctor ever recommended a lifestyle change that you found to be unsustainable or that just plain didn’t work? Have you ever wanted something in your life, but found you couldn’t achieve it alone? You need a health coach!
What is a health coach, anyway? A health coach is a professional trained to provide help to individuals in setting and reaching their health goals using lifestyle, diet and exercise tools, and behavioral psychology principles. I am a trusted advisor who is excited to provide ongoing support as I empower you to set goals and make sustainable changes that improve your health and happiness forever.
Working together we will develop a personalized program that will permanently improve your health, wellness, and happiness. We will explore concerns specific to you, your lifestyle, and body, and discover the tools you need for a lifetime of balance. No more wasting your time and money on a "one size fits all" approach that doesn’t work, because one size doesn't fit all.
As a client of any of my health coaching programs, you will…
set and accomplish goals in a way that is empowering and exciting
increase your energy levels
understand and reduce your cravings
feel great in your body
learn about new foods and how you can easily incorporate them into your life
improve your personal relationships
discover the confidence to create the life you want
Each program is suited individually and set in the time frame you desire with options to stay on a maintenance program to ensure a lifetime of success!

Individual Coaching
I'm The Guide At Your Side
Are you tired of being tired? Frustrated that you can't seem to stick with and actually reach your wellness goals? Too busy to fit everything into your day, like cooking and exercise? I create a supportive environment that enables you to articulate and achieve your goals through simple, sustainable actions that will last a lifetime. Throughout my education I have been exposed to the most cutting-edge dietary theories and studied highly effective coaching techniques to help you find lifestyle choices that work best for you.
I've been there. I was on the hamster wheel of trying to have the 'perfect' life, be on the right diet, eat the right foods, be with the right people, have the right job, and do the right exercise. It didn't work. I was broken and depleted on every level.
My practical, holistic approach starts with a conversation. Yes, I really listen to what you have to say and what matters to you! Wow! When was the last time someone gave you undivided attention and focused on you and your needs?
I offer free 30-minute consults to learn about your health struggles and to find the best solution to help attain your individual health goals. It doesn’t matter where you live - we can meet in my office in Bergenfield or via Zoom from the comfort of your home or office. If you’re interested, fill out the form below and I will contact you shortly.

Workshops and Corporate Support
Healthy Living
Rena has taught workshops and classes for over five years in wellness centers, community schools, nonprofit groups, and corporate settings. At Whole Body Balancing, I am passionate about making it easy to understand how to implement positive health and wellness strategies into everyday life.
I provide health-related workshops on a variety of timely topics to share information and action plans to apply the information you learn into your daily life.
Workshops are customized to your organization and include education on how to implement better nutrition and life choices to create a healthier life, produce a more efficient day, and reduce stress in the work environment. They serve as a first step in allowing you to improve workplace health and therefore experience many of the benefits described above.
Whole Body Balancing leads an informative forum for the discussion of healthy living by utilizing an interactive approach to facilitate active learning and individual empowerment. This approach allows participants to engage in discussion and interact with other attendees through various exercises and brainstorming. Participants also receive valuable giveaways to take with them, furthering their knowledge after the workshop.
Generally, the workshop duration is one hour in length and may be presented at multiple times to allow for the varying schedules of your employees. A small group format of 25 to 30 participants is recommended per workshop session. Participants will learn:
The current state of health in the US
Foods and lifestyle approaches that cause poor health
The effects of sugar on health and energy
How to make better food choices at work and at home
How to improve lifestyle, including exercise and relaxation
Ways to efficiently take action towards achieving goals
Options for having ongoing support after the workshop
Benefits to Employees
Educating your employees about healthy food and lifestyle choices, stress reduction, exercise and eating for sustained energy will provide the following benefits:
Improved overall health
Improved nutrition and healthier eating habits
Reduced stress and anxiety
Fewer food cravings
Increased energy and vitality
Increased daily satisfaction
Global rates of obesity, diabetes, and other chronic diseases are on the rise. Over 65% of Americans are overweight, and by 2020 it is estimated that half of all Americans will suffer from a preventable, chronic disease. The United States alone spends over $2.5 trillion every year on health care, with a large portion of that money coming from employers’ pockets for employee health insurance, medical leave, and sick days.
Chronic stress, poor dietary habits, and lack of exercise all significantly contribute to employee performance. Luckily, many of these costly, chronic ailments can be avoided with simple, preventative care for employees.
Benefits to the company include:
A cost-effective solution to improve employee health
Increased employee engagement and retention
Decreased absenteeism
Increase employee morale

Pantry Makeover
All the Basics You Need
Things you SHOULD expect during your Pantry Makeover:
to be educated on the products you’ve been purchasing (learning to understand labels)
simple swaps you can make to take your pantry to the next level of nutrition
discussing realistic ways your family can enjoy their meals and feel better, too
Things you should NOT expect for your Pantry Makeover:
to toss all your current foods in the trash
to have it professionally organized with new containers and a fancy label maker (this falls under a different coaching program)
Now that you have a clear understanding of how your pantry impacts your health
let’s talk about Step 2 - what to do at the grocery store!

Grocery Store Tour
Simple Home Cooking Solutions
A "grocery store tour" appointment, for an hour and a half, is set at your preferred, local grocery store to learn how to shop with the new knowledge you have gained and to break down some of the odd products you see show up but aren’t sure why or if you would need them.
Things TO expect at your Grocery Store Tour:
to find new products to upgrade your usual list to be more nutritious (and delicious!)
to find out what’s important to purchase and where you can “cut corners” (because a budget is also an important part of being healthy!)
Things NOT to expect at your Grocery Store Tour:
to be forced to purchase things outside your budget or preferences (this is about being realistic!)
to purchase multiple supplements to begin a new diet regimen
