ABOUT ME

Why I went from a Finance Professional to an Integrative Wellness Practitioner and Therapeutic Bodyworker

I am a former finance professional turned integrative health coach and therapeutic massage therapist.  For many years, I searched for the “perfect” life with a "successful" career working too many hours and commuting in and out of New York City for too long each day which left me physically and mentally exhausted.  I had heart palpitations, constant head pain, severe vertigo, brain fog, chronic constipation, adrenal exhaustion, pain from my gallbladder, and on and on.  I hit a breaking point with a health crisis that depleted my energy, joy, and quality of life significantly.

So, after 20 years in corporate America, I redirected my path and rewrote my story. I focused on finding the balance that I didn’t have before by nourishing my body - physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I found joy by focusing on self-care. Once I allowed my body to heal and shed what no longer served me, my life changed for the best. I lost more than 30 pounds, improved my digestion and chronic constipation, eliminated vertigo and heart palpitations, cleared brain fog and constant head pain, regained energy, and restored my deep sleep patterns.

Today, I help people throughout all stages of their lives meet their health goals, reduce their pain, manage their stress, mobilize their joints, and calm the overactive brain by teaching them to approach life by forming a new relationship with their body. From a heart-centered approach, I love working with aging and autistic individuals who are typically underserved in my profession. The success of my compassionate approach is dependent on my ability to listen and to meet them where they are at.

Through private sessions, group coaching programs, and educational programs, my health practice Whole Body Balancing by Rena Esposito provides the nurturing, caring, and hands-on relief needed for a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

Achieving a healthy lifestyle is a process that I know well from my own journey and professional training that includes a Master’s of Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. I am a New Jersey and Wisconsin licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist, Certified Acupressure Practitioner, Certified Integrative Nutritional Health Coach, Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist, and CranioSacral Therapy Practitioner.
